People Directory
Employees can search colleagues, explore their position within the org, and initiate a chat or meeting — all from the Dayforce app, without switching to desktop.
Directive
As an organization, Ceridian had a lot of Human Resources features available through their desktop application, but not to their native app user base. As hundreds of clients were adopting the Dayforce app, requests began to flood in asking for the implementation of the web's People Directory, so that folks on the go could easily perform the same functions on the app as on desktop.
The core directive was to port the People Directory to Ceridian's native mobile app — closing the functionality gap between web and mobile, and giving users a really easy way to connect with coworkers without having to be on their computer.
Results

Employees can view a colleague's schedule and meeting details directly — bringing transparency to availability without leaving the app.
